Fibos, charts, ATHs, NFTs, market caps… Beneath that nervous and insecure façade hides a serious brainiac who lives and breathes every concept related to financial markets and the burgeoning world of crypto. This geeky fellow has turned his garage into an operations room that would make any Silicon Valley entrepreneur green with envy. He’s a misfit on the streets, but an anonymous big shot on specialist forums who just can’t get enough.
Omar is a bit obsessed. The news, trends, and new ICOs are overwhelming, and he feels ignorant, even though few know as much as him. He’s always been a dreamy malcontent and, although money from financial markets wasn’t what he was most interested in, let’s not kid ourselves, everyone likes a bit of dough and he, for all his knowledge camouflage, is no different. However, he’s as good an analyst as he’s a bad money maker and, even though things aren’t too shabby for him, he’s not exactly a success story… not believing in himself enough is a hurdle too high to overcome.
«Going out tonight?» Omar isn’t ready for that battle. Word has it that the last time he went out for beers with his buddies, he ended up chatting for hours about the dot com bubble with a frustrated guy who lost half of his savings. Definitely, the word socialize/flirt has no room amidst all the financial theory and conspiracy.
But he doesn’t need to socialize one bit. Why? You may ask. He thinks Walter respects him, though the truth is quite different: Walter uses his knowledge for his own benefit, takes advantage of him. On the other hand, he has a special bond with Ray, towards whom he feels a mix of brotherhood and condescension, seeing the mess he’s gotten into, no matter how hard he tried to stop him. Definitely, the FOMO was stronger than his advice.
A friend of blockchain, an enemy of the frantic pace of life beyond his room’s door. Omar is the microprocessor of a trio of geeks who are inching closer and closer to creating something big.
